We work with clients to plan and deliver projects where programme, cost, safety and the continued operation of surrounding businesses all matter. Our work spans design coordination, procurement, construction and handover.   ## Where we came from GRAVIS is part of VG Group. VG Project Group was established in 2016 and has worked across project management, development and construction on complex projects throughout Australia. GRAVIS was formed as a separate business dedicated to commercial and industrial building in NSW. The GRAVIS name is new. The experience behind it comes from people who have managed construction programmes, consultants, contractors, budgets and live operating sites for many years. Where a project shown on this website was delivered under VG Project Group or through a team member’s earlier role, we identify that distinction.   THE GRAVIS WAY ## How **we work** We start by understanding what the project must achieve and the conditions in which it will be built. That means resolving design and buildability questions early, testing the programme against procurement lead times, and identifying risks before they become site problems. During delivery, we coordinate consultants, trades and suppliers around a clear scope and programme. Cost reporting, quality checks and regular communication give clients a practical view of progress and decisions required. On live sites, we plan access, staging, and safety around the people and operations that must continue while work is underway. Our approach draws on VG Group’s established project controls and ISO-aligned quality, safety and environmental processes. We apply these systems to each project's needs, from early planning through completion and handover. PROFESSIONALS ## The people **behind Gravis** Gravis brings together construction and commercial leadership with the experience to guide complex projects from planning through to handover.  ![Kim Gower](https://www.gravis.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/A7R03169.jpg?width=4802&height=4802&name=A7R03169.jpg) Director ### Kim Gower Kim’s career began as a carpenter, giving him a hands-on understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and risk that informs every decision he makes as a director.  Over two decades, he moved from the tools into project management, project direction, and now general management of a portfolio valued between $60M and $400M spanning residential, commercial, hotel and industrial development. As an Undertaking Manager for NSW Fair Trading’s Project Intervene, Kim carries governance and compliance responsibility across multiple active projects, aligning delivery with the National Construction Code, the Building Code of Australia, the RAB Act and the DBP Act. He has also acted as a supervisor manager appointed by the NSW Building Commissioner, auditing project governance and working with builders and developers to bring delivery into line with best practice. Kim is known for leading projects through challenging programmes, tight budgets and complex stakeholder environments, and for remaining closely involved throughout delivery — setting quality standards, coordinating consultants and overseeing execution. ![Joanna Versiani](https://www.gravis.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/A7R02923.jpg?width=4203&height=4203&name=A7R02923.jpg) Commercial Director ### Joanna Versiani Joanna is an executive with over 20 years of experience across construction, property development, finance and business management. She leads development strategy, financial governance and the commercial direction of the business, from feasibility through delivery and sale. With a Bachelor of Commerce, CPA accreditation and more than a decade in corporate finance, Joanna brings commercial insight to funding, cash flow, procurement and risk. Her expertise supports disciplined decisions across Virtus and VG Project Group. She works closely with clients, investors, consultants, contractors and project teams to establish clear objectives and manage competing priorities throughout complex projects. She brings structure to discussions and helps stakeholders make informed decisions at each stage. At a business level, Joanna oversees governance, organisational structure and operational performance. Her approach strengthens accountability and supports sustainable growth while keeping decisions aligned with broader business objectives. She remains closely involved in shaping the systems and relationships that underpin long-term delivery.
